// pre-trade gate for cTrader funded accounts

The only stop that ever held was an empty account.

If you know that feeling, this was built by someone who lived it. Eight gates sit between you and your own worst trades, wired straight into your broker account. When a cooldown starts you actually have to wait it out, the lockout kicks in before you breach, and the journal only records what your broker says happened.

No signals, no advice, and no promises about profit. It just holds you to your own rules on the days you can't.

CLEARED · BLOCK Two verdicts. No grey zone.

Works with cTrader brokers only. FTMO, Fusion, and any other cTrader broker. Desktop only.

// the pattern

You already know how this goes.

The loss lands, and before the dust has settled you've re-entered. Same pair, bigger size, telling yourself it's a new trade. You watch yourself do it. Enter, stopped out, enter, stopped out, until somewhere in there a quiet question shows up: what did I just do?

It was never a knowledge problem. You knew not to move the stop, you knew not to size up after a loss, you knew better than to trade angry. That's the part that costs more than the money, because you knew and it happened anyway. Addiction researchers call it chasing and poker players call it tilt, but the name doesn't matter much. Willpower loses that fight in the moment, every time. What wins is a decision you made earlier, held in place by software that has no idea what 2am feels like.

Your firm won't ask why you breached. And the next account will die the same way the last one did unless something stands between the loss and the trade that follows it.

// how accounts die

Every blown account dies one of six ways.

Not from a bad strategy. From one of six moves every trader knows, and makes anyway. Each one has a gate standing in front of it.

The revenge trade.The loss lands and you're back in within a minute, at bigger size, trying to win it back. One losing trade becomes a losing night. The post-loss cooldown and the revenge-window block stand exactly there.
Averaging down.Adding to a loser feels like a discount. A falling price is not a bargain, it is information. The same-direction add against an underwater position gets BLOCKED at the moment you try it.
The moved stop.You placed it while you were calm. Then price came close and you gave it room, and that room is where accounts die. G5 fails the trade the moment the stop widens.
The winner giveback.Fearful when you're winning, hopeful when you're losing: winners get cut early, losers get held. Run that flip long enough and the losses outweigh the wins at any win rate. G7 holds the exit rules you committed before entry.
The size-up.A streak whispers that the rules are for other people. Size creeps until one ordinary loss undoes the week. G4 checks every trade against the same size rule, streak or no streak.
One more trade.Past the limit, tired, chasing a round number back. Nobody course-corrects mid-binge. G6 counts the session and G8 suspends it.

None of these is a knowledge problem, and none of them survives a rule enforced from outside your own head. That is the whole product.

// how it works

Three steps. The gates take over from there.

01

Connect your account.

One click links your own cTrader account, whether that's FTMO, Fusion or any other cTrader broker. A login box opens, you approve it, it closes. EXIT CODE never sees your password and never holds your money. You place every trade yourself on your own account, which is how FTMO, Fusion and other cTrader firms allow you to use your own tools. From then on it watches your equity against your firm's limits and locks the session while a breach is still avoidable.

02

Set your rules once, while you're calm.

Daily loss limit, max size, setup criteria, your firm's exact preset checked against the firm's own dashboard. You write the rules on a good day and the gates hold you to them on the bad one.

03

CLEARED places it. BLOCK means it doesn't exist.

Every trade runs through the eight gates. Clear them and one click sends the order to your account with your stop already attached. Fail one and the order simply can't be placed. There's no warning to click past and no override, just a lockout with a timer on it. You press the button on every order, and EXIT CODE never trades on its own.

Your journal writes itself from your broker's fills, and if you log a rosier version it gets overridden to the cent. What happened is what's on the page.

// desktop only

Your broker is mobile-ready. That's the problem.

Prop firms don't care why you broke the rules. A trade placed from your phone at 11pm, impulsive, uncharted, no stop checked, counts the same as any other. EXIT CODE's trading surface doesn't run on phones or tablets, and not because of technical limits. Because removing the option removes the decision. A trade you can place from your pocket is an impulse trade.

The course and your account dashboard are accessible anywhere. Only trade execution is desktop-gated.

// proof

No face. No screenshots. A running machine.

Most trading products are sold on a personality and a P&L screenshot, and both are easy to fake. A working mechanism is harder.

Live on a funded account today.The gates run on a real FTMO account, against FTMO's own limits.
A journal that can't be lied to.Every close is verified against your broker's fills, so the journal shows what the account says you did rather than what you meant to do.
Enforcement, not reminders.Cooldowns you can't skip, blocks on the revenge window after a loss, and a lockout that fires while you're still inside the limit.
Nothing predicted, nothing promised.No signals, no advice, no profit claims. The method comes out of published addiction science (urge surfing, relapse prevention, the 5 Ds), not a Telegram channel. It's a seatbelt, and about as glamorous.

// who it's for

Built for the trader who's already paid the tuition.

You've lost a funded account or a challenge to a rules violation, not to a bad strategy.
You already have a written plan. Following it is the problem.
You trade on cTrader, and only cTrader. FTMO, Fusion, or any other cTrader broker.

If you're after signals, someone else's trades or a strategy shortcut, this isn't for you. EXIT CODE assumes you already know how to trade. It exists for the moments you stop acting like it.

// the eight gates

Eight gates. One enforces your setup. One enforces your head.

Each gate exists because of a specific way funded traders blow accounts, and together they make breaking your rules harder than following them. A BLOCK is the trade you don't take.

G1Emotional StateA self-check. Trading angry, anxious, or exhausted is a rules violation.
BLOCKYour baseline came back CAUTIOUS. No trade until you clear the 60-second delay.
G2Setup QualityIs this trade in your defined setup, or are you forcing it?
BLOCKNo valid setup confirmed. You are forcing a trade that isn't there.
G3Stop DefinedIs your stop placed? If not, the trade doesn't go.
BLOCKNo stop on the ticket. The trade does not go without one.
G4Position SizeIs the size within your rule and the reward worth the risk, before you enter?
BLOCKReward:risk is below your 1:2 minimum, or the size breaks your own rule.
G5Stop IntegrityHave you moved your stop since you placed it?
BLOCKYour stop moved wider after entry. It can only ever move to cut risk, never add it.
G6Session LimitWould this trade breach your daily or session loss limit?
BLOCKThis trade would breach today's loss cap. The door shuts while the account is still alive.
G7Winner ManagementAre you managing a winner within your rules, or giving the profit back?
BLOCKYou are giving the winner back. Take the planned partial, or trail the stop.
G8Circuit BreakerHit your loss threshold? Trading is suspended until the next session.
BLOCKYour loss streak hit the floor. Trading is locked until the next session.

Gates 1–4 are free, so you can walk the whole pre-trade block in the course before you pay a cent. The four in-trade gates (5–8) are paid.

// last word

The next spiral is already scheduled.

It arrives right after a loss, the way it always has. The only question is what's standing there when it does: your willpower again, or a gate you built while you were calm.

EXIT CODE won't make you profitable, it won't pass a challenge for you, and it won't win anything back. All it does is enforce your rules on the exact trades you'd have broken them on. The spiral ends at the gate.

If the gates don't feel like something you needed three accounts ago, close the tab.

EXIT CODE does not provide financial advice, trading signals, or investment recommendations. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Prop firm challenges involve risk of loss.
