Terms of Service.

Risk Disclosure

Trading financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not indicative of future results. EXIT CODE is a self-directed discipline tool: it does not generate trading signals and does not provide financial advice. Where you connect your own broker, EXIT CODE only transmits the order you choose, on your instruction, to your own account; it never decides what or when you trade, and it cannot guarantee any trading outcome or prevent a loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and any losses incurred.

1. What EXIT CODE is

EXIT CODE is a pre-trade discipline tool delivered as a web application at exitcode.trade. You bring a trade; the application runs it through eight gates against the rules you set when calm and returns one verdict (CLEARED or BLOCK) alongside a live readout of how close you are to breaching your account limits.

The product enforces a methodology you, the trader, define yourself. You bring your own technical setup criteria. You set your own stop loss, take profit, and risk parameters. The system flags deviations from the rules you set when calm.

2. What EXIT CODE is NOT

Not a signal service. The product does not tell you what to buy or sell, when to enter, or which direction to trade.
Not financial advice. Nothing on the website, in the app, in our emails, or in any course material constitutes personal or general financial advice under the Australian Corporations Act 2001 or equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction.
Not a broker or dealer. EXIT CODE is not a broker, dealer, or custodian, does not hold your money, and does not make trading decisions for you. When you connect your own broker and use one-click placement, EXIT CODE transmits the order you have specified, on your click, to your own account as your agent (see Section 7). You choose every trade; EXIT CODE never chooses, sizes, or times a trade for you.
Not a guarantee of profitability. No tool can make you profitable. EXIT CODE only enforces discipline against your own pre-declared rules.

3. Subscription and pricing

Pricing is in USD. Stripe handles currency conversion automatically at checkout.

Free: Sign up with your email to unlock the free course lessons (the intro and the pre-trade gate lessons), the ability to run all 8 gates on your own trade proposals in the workstation (self-reported, the answers come from what you enter, not from a connected broker account), the backtester on sample data, and the free tools (breach calculator, equity simulator). No payment required.
Challenge Pass: $149 USD, one-time. 60 days of full access from the date of purchase: all 8 gates enforced on your own connected cTrader or MetaTrader 5 account, one-click execution (cTrader), the verified journal, the backtester on your own broker's history, and the full course. It is not a subscription: nothing renews, no card is stored, and access ends automatically at day 60. If you move to the Founder plan before your pass ends, your first Founder month is credited from the pass (contact info@exitcode.trade from your purchase email).
EXIT CODE (full workstation): all 8 gates enforced on your connected account, the full methodology course, the verified journal, and the backtester included. Starts with a 14-day free trial with no card required; if you do not add a payment method by the end of the trial, the subscription simply ends and you are never charged. $99 USD per month Founder rate, locked for life for the first 100 members: the rate never increases for as long as your subscription stays active. Once the first 100 Founder seats are filled, the standard rate is $149 USD per month. Founder also includes the Discord premium tier and a founder badge. An annual option is also available at $790 USD per year (the same Founder plan, billed yearly instead of monthly, equivalent to ~$65.83/month), which carries the 30-day Clean-Slate Guarantee.
The Proving Ground (legacy): the $29 USD/month sim-only backtester plan is no longer offered to new customers (its features are included in the Challenge Pass and Founder plans, and its sample-data mode is free). Existing Proving Ground subscribers keep their plan and terms until they cancel.

Monthly Founder is a monthly subscription and the Founder annual option is a yearly subscription; both renew automatically at the stated rate until you cancel. The Challenge Pass is a one-time purchase and never renews. Fees are shown in USD, and Stripe converts your local currency at checkout.

4. Refund policy

The free tier is free forever. The free course lessons, all 8 gates on your own setups, and the free tools (breach calculator, equity simulator). Use them for as long as you need before deciding to upgrade.

Paid plans (Challenge Pass $149 once · EXIT CODE $99/mo Founder, $149/mo standard)

Subscriptions: cancel any time from the Manage billing link on your dashboard (or by emailing info@exitcode.trade). Access continues until the end of your current billing cycle. No partial-month refunds. The monthly Founder plan's risk protection is its 14-day no-card trial: you see the full product before any payment details exist.

Clean-Slate Guarantee (annual plan). The Founder annual plan includes it: run the gates before every trade for 30 days, and if it has not changed how you trade, email us once within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund. Paid-plan access (the full course, the workstation, the Discord premium tier) ends when the refund is issued; the free tier stays free forever regardless. Challenge Pass purchases are one-time and non-renewing; refund requests are handled case-by-case under the statutory rights below.

Why this policy

Access is granted by issuing your private workstation token the moment you pay. The free tier (all 8 gates self-reported + the free course lessons + the free tools) and the 14-day no-card Founder trial give you the full framework to evaluate before any payment exists, and the annual plan's 30-day Clean-Slate Guarantee covers you if it is not what you expected.

Statutory rights (cannot be excluded)

This policy does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or equivalent consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction. If the product has a "major failure" (not as described, defective, unsafe, etc.), you are entitled to a refund regardless of this policy. Contact info@exitcode.trade for refund requests.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

Share, transfer, sell, lend, or disclose your account, login, one-time or magic login link, access email, credentials, or workstation token to anyone else; your access is personal to you, one person per account
Copy, record, download, screen-capture, transcribe, or republish any course, lesson, video, audio recording, transcript, or other material
Attempt to circumvent the access controls, scrape, or extract the EXIT CODE application, or reverse-engineer its gate logic, thresholds, or methodology
Resell, sub-license, or redistribute any part of the product
Use the product in jurisdictions where its use would be illegal under local financial services regulation
Misrepresent the product as endorsed by any of the cited authors (Hougaard, Douglas, Tendler, Tharp, Nekritin & Peters, Marlatt); we reference their published works under fair-use citation
Copy, clone, or republish the exitcode.trade website itself, in whole or substantial part, including its design, layout, copy, or structure, or use automated tools to bulk-scrape its content for any purpose including training an AI model, without our prior written permission

The full intellectual-property, confidentiality, and account-sharing terms that apply when you use the workstation are set out in the EXIT CODE User Agreement.

6. Founder terms

Cap of 100 founder members at $99/month locked for life. Once 100 are claimed, the founder rate closes and standard pricing ($149/month) applies.
The founder rate of $99/month is locked for the life of your subscription and never increases. Monthly Founder's risk protection is the 14-day no-card trial; the 30-day Clean-Slate money-back guarantee applies to the annual Founder plan only, from your first payment (see Section 4).
Founder badge is permanent, visible in Discord premium tier channels and on any future member-comparison features.
All future updates to the EXIT CODE workstation are included at no extra cost.
Discord premium tier access is included for the lifetime of the EXIT CODE Discord server.

7. Execution and your broker connection

EXIT CODE offers optional one-click trade placement to your own connected brokerage or proprietary-trading account (for example a cTrader or MetaTrader 5 account with FTMO, Fusion, or another supported broker). This feature is available on the EXIT CODE Founder plan and the Challenge Pass (not on the free tier, which is self-reported with no broker connection, and not on the legacy Proving Ground, which is sim-only) and only after you accept the EXIT CODE User Agreement.

You connect your own account. No order is ever transmitted unless and until you click to place it.
When you click, EXIT CODE transmits the exact order you specified (instrument, direction, entry, stop, target, and size) to your own account, as your agent carrying out your instruction. EXIT CODE never decides what, when, or how much you trade.
Your relationship with your broker or prop firm, your compliance with their terms, and any outcome (including account breach, suspension, or loss) are solely your responsibility.
We may suspend, restrict, or disable execution at any time, including via an immediate global kill switch, without notice.

Your use of the workstation and one-click placement is governed by the EXIT CODE User Agreement, which you must accept before you can execute. Where these Terms and the User Agreement differ on the workstation or execution, the User Agreement prevails.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EXIT CODE and the trustee for the Kritsotakis Family Trust (ABN 45 984 876 899) are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, indirect damages, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product. Our maximum aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) AUD $100.

This limitation does not exclude or limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify EXIT CODE and the trustee for the Kritsotakis Family Trust (ABN 45 984 876 899) against any claims arising from your trading decisions, your misuse of the product, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

11. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we will email registered users with at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect. Your continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
