Connect MetaTrader 5

Pair the EXIT CODE Gates EA running in your MT5 terminal with your account here. Once paired, the EA sends your live equity, positions and closed trades, and this site shows them. The Expert Advisor only ever places an order you clicked Enter trade on, for your own CLEARED ticket, in your own terminal; it never trades on its own. The optional close-at-limit rule runs locally in your terminal, from numbers you set, and is off by default.

Demo account first. Attach the EA to a demo account and watch a full session before you trust it near a funded account. That is the order of operations we use ourselves.

// link status

statechecking…

// pair a terminal

Generate a one-time code and type it into the EA's PairingCode input. The code works once and expires in 15 minutes. Pairing a new terminal disconnects the previous one. A link belongs to one MT5 account: if you log the terminal into a different account, the EA stops syncing on purpose and tells you, so your numbers here can never describe the wrong account. Switch back and it resumes on its own.

valid for 15 minutes · single use · codes never contain 0, O, 1 or I

// setup, once per terminal

  1. Get the EA. Download the ready-to-run ExitCodeGates.ex5. In MT5: File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts, drop the file in, then right-click Expert Advisors in MT5's Navigator and choose Refresh. No compiling needed. The readme covers the details, and the full source is published for anyone who wants to read or build it themselves.
  2. Allow the connection. In MT5: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL and add https://exitcode.trade. Without this the EA cannot reach us and will tell you so.
  3. Check you are on the trading password, not the investor one. Brokers email you two passwords. The investor password is read-only: your account will sync here and look perfectly healthy, but no trade can ever be placed or closed. Use the trading (master) password. You can tell at a glance in MT5: if there is a Trade tab at the bottom and New Order is clickable, you are on the right one. The status list above will also tell you.
  4. Attach the EA to any chart on the account you want linked (demo first). In the dialog that opens, tick Allow Algo Trading on the Common tab. That checkbox is separate from the toolbar button in the next step, and you need both.
  5. Turn on Algo Trading in the MT5 toolbar so the button is green. Worth knowing: MT5 switches this off by itself every time you change account, so check it again after any login.
  6. Paste the pairing code into the EA's PairingCode input. Within about 30 seconds the chart comment shows linked and this page shows your account. Codes are single use and last 15 minutes, so generate a fresh one if it expires.
  7. Watch the status list above go all green. It checks the things that actually matter and tells you the exact fix for anything that is not right. Do not trust "linked" on its own.
  8. Optional: close everything at your daily loss limit. The EA's DailyLossLimitPercent and CloseAllAtLimit inputs are your own local rule, computed on your machine from numbers you choose. They default to off, they keep working with no internet, and nothing on our side can trigger them.
